Passport Mask

There are many tribes in the Ivory Coast which is situated in North West Africa. These passport Masks are of many types, and the tribesmen and women wear them on their backs for identification.
Tribes are largely nomadic and the masks identify the wearers as either friend or foe.
The masks are carved from a very hard wood, usually ebony.
